Happy new year! Another fresh start and new hope! I've just got back from a short trip to Dorset, particularly the Jurassic coast line. I took a number of shots which I really like along Kimmerage bay and Durdle Dor. My persoanl favorite was a pre-dawn shot over Kimmerage bay. I just like the moody light and strong contrast which this particular time of day offers. Unfortunately, this time of day often doesn't get shown much because dawn and sunrise are often more dramatic. Christmas blessings, peace and joy!

I'm currently packing my bags and cameras for a week's trip to Dorset for a landscape workshop. It'll be freezing cold on the Dorset coast but the photo opportunities are just so worth it there. The sun is in the right place at this time of year, but the short days means lots of wizzing about in the car, trying to maximise the limited day light. I'm just booking my next year's trip to the Saltee islands for Irish Sea birds and maybe a Slovenia trip over summer.
